Bucatini Pasta In White Sauce

Pastas come in a variety of shapes and sizes each having their own attributes. For this recipe, we have used Bucatini pasta (long tubes with a hole in the middle). This pasta prepared in white sauce is surely a must try.

Time To Prepare
40 - 50 min

Ingredients:
1. Sweet Corn Canned (280 grams dry weight)
2. Bucatini Pasta ( 450 grams)
3. Marinated Chicken Bites (250 grams)
4. Fresh Cream (200 ml)
5. Shredded Cheddar Cheese (150 grams)
6. Milk (2 cups or 400 ml)
7. Cooking Oil (10 Tbsp)
8. Basil Leaves For Garnishing

7-8 persons


Method:
1. Take small chicken cubes (250 grams) in a bowl and marinate them with yogurt,salt,black pepper,coriander powder and red chili powder according to taste.

Refrigerate for 15 min.

Now take a small fry pan and put cooking oil (3 Tbsp) and marinated chicken in it. Cook in steam on medium flame til the mixture is fully absorbed. Turn off stove and cover for now.

2. Take a cup of water in a sauce pan and boil sweet corns in it for 4-5 min on medium flame til the water evaporates.

3. Now turn flame to low heat and pour cream (200 ml) and milk (400 ml) together in boiled corns. Stir well till smooth. Now add the prepared chicken cubes in this mixture and bring it to boil. 

Cook til the mixture becomes slightly thick. Turn off the flame and cover.

4. Boil Bucatini pasta in 1 liter of water in a separate saucepan. Cook on medium flame for 6-7 mins until your pasta becomes soft.

Drain water with the help of a colander and add this boiled pasta along with shredded cheddar cheese (150 grams) in cream sauce mixture prepared above.

5. Turn stove to low flame and mix well for 2-3 minutes.

6. Your Bucatini Pasta is ready. Garnish with Basil leaves and serve.
