French toasts are one of the most consumed breakfast items in the world. French toasts are prepared in a number of ways depending on the region. The main varying ingredients are sugar, honey and maple syrup. French toasts have a sweet taste to them and it is achieved in different ways. Ingredients:
1. Sugar ( 5 Level Tablespoons or To Taste)
2. Vanilla Extract ( 1/2 teaspoon)
3. Milk (8 Tablespoons)
4. Ground Cinnamon ( pinch)
5. Eggs (4 whole eggs)
6. Slices of Bread (4 thick slices, any bread)
7. Melted Butter or Cooking oil ( 6-7 Tablespoon)

How To Prepare:
1. Take a large mixing bowl and break open eggs in it. Check them for staleness. Then add vanilla extract, milk, sugar, ground cinnamon and whisk it well.
2. Now take four slices of your favorite bread. It can be white, bran, multigrain bread or any other bread. It is preferred for the bread to be a day-old as it is more stable as compared to a fresh bread which soft and delicate.
3. Dunk 2 slices in this egg mixture one by one and dip both sides. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil or butter over medium heat in a large non-stick frying pan to accommodate 2 slices at once if possible.
4. Carefully transfer the soaked slices on to the frying pan and cook them on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden, then flip sides to cook the other side.
5. When done, transfer on a plate and cook the remaining slices after soaking them in the egg mixture.
6. Optionally, you can add crushed nuts and fresh cut fruits on it while serving.
7. Since this recipe uses sugar to achieve the sweet taste, maple syrup or honey is not required. Still you may douse some over your slices if you like.
