Ingredients
1. Carrots ( 700 grams, cut in circles)
2. Potatoes (500 grams, cubes)
3. Peas ( 250 grams)
4. Cabbages (300 grams, sliced)
5. Onion ( 2 large, chopped)
6. Tomato (2 large, chopped)
7. Cooking Oil ( 3/4 cup)
8. Salt ( 2 teaspoons or according to taste)
9. Turmeric Powder ( 1/2 tsp)
10. Red chili powder ( 1/2 tsp or to taste)
11. Garam Masala ( 1/3 teaspoon for garnishing)

Method
1. Take a deep skillet (frying pan) and put it on medium heat. Put cooking oil and onions in it. Keep cooking until the onions turn light brown in color.
2. When done, add chopped tomatoes and stir well. Keep cooking for 7-10 mins.
3. Now add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder in it and stir well. Now add carrots in the pan and stir well. Cook for 10 mins and keep stirring intermittently.
4. Now add 2 glasses of water in pan and cover it. Let it simmer until it half-cooked. Keep the flame low. This is important because if carrots are overcooked then they will become too soft.
5. Now add potatoes and peas in the pan and stir well and cover it again. Cook on low flame until potatoes are almost cooked.
6. Now add cabbage in the pan and stir well on medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Turn the flame off and cover.
7. Garnish with garam masala.
8. Serve hot with chapatis.
