4. Water (4 cups)
5. White Sugar ( 1 1/2 cup)
6. Green Cardamom (4 pods)
7. Cooking Oil ( for deep frying)

Time To Prepare

1 hr

Serving Size

2-3 person

How To Prepare:

1. First we will prepare sweet syrup in which Gulab Jamuns will be dipped. Take a medium size pot for boiling 4 cups of water. Add water and sugar in it. Set flame to medium heat. Once the water starts boiling, reduce flame to keep it simmering and add cardamom pods too.

2. Check the thickness of syrup with the help of a ladle or a spoon. When the syrup has reached the appropriate thickness, turn off the stove.

3. Take a large mixing bowl and add milk powder, baking powder and egg in it. Mixing it well with your hands.

4. Make small balls with your hands. Remember that they will increase in size 2-3 three times after they are dipped in syrup.

5. Once you are done making balls, deep fry them in medium heated oil. Rotate balls to cook them evenly from all sides. If the oil is too hot, it will cook the outer layer quickly but the inside will be raw.

6. When balls are cooked to golden brown color, dip them in the syrup that you prepared earlier. Make sure that the syrup is hot. Keep them dipped for at least 10- 15 minutes.

7. Serve hot with almond garnishing.
